The AGF PURGEnVENT™ Model 7940 BLE is a Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) compliant automatic air venting valve assembly designed to enhance the longevity and efficiency of wet pipe fire sprinkler systems. By continuously removing excess air, the 7940BLE helps reduce the risk of internal pipe corrosion, a common issue in metallic piping systems.

Engineered for NFPA 13 Compliance

NFPA 13 standards require the inclusion of an air vent on all wet pipe fire sprinkler systems utilizing metallic pipe. The PURGEnVENT™ Model 7940 BLE is built to meet this requirement, featuring an FM-approved and UL-listed 7900V automatic air vent that efficiently expels trapped air while the system is in operation.

Branch Line Extension (BLE) for Easy Installation & Identification

The 7940 BLE incorporates a fabricated domestically made Schedule 10 or Schedule 40 pipe, powder-coated with a durable 3-mil finish. The assembly includes a highly visible "AIR VENT" identification sign on the underside, making it easy to locate from floor level for maintenance and inspection.

Integrated Components for Enhanced Functionality

• FM Approved and UL Listed 7900 V Automatic Air Vent – Ensures reliable air release to mitigate corrosion.
• Built-in Isolation Valve and Strainer – Provides system protection and allows for easy maintenance.
• Purge Valve with Union and Hose Connection – Speeds up air removal during filling, facilitates strainer flushing and cleaning, and functions as a vacuum breaker to improve system drainage while preventing gasket displacement.
• BABAA-Compliant Domestic Components – Includes domestically manufactured couplings and end cap with fittings to meet current federal requirements.
